Slow Reps Will Change YOUR Workout Forever 😱
December 11, 2024When it comes to building muscle, you need to remember, momentum is NOT a muscle. What does that mean? Try slowing your reps down in order to better recruit the muscles you are trying to grow. This will also lead to you not using muscles that are not being targeted by the exercise.
Take the high-to-low cable crossover for example. If you use momentum and speed through your reps, you will likely be recruiting the shoulders to assist the exercise. In order to grow a big chest, you want to remove the shoulders from the equation. The best way to do this, as I show in the video, is to just slow the reps down and remove all momentum from the exercise.
Focusing the most tension possible on the desired muscles will lead to faster, better results.
